Unlike many in the cast, this is only my second show and I am a very inexperienced actor. There's so much passion and everyone's advice has given me time to improve. There's so much for me to learn but if I can capture the hearts of the audience like the veterans have done for me, then I'm already one step forward than I was before.

This is my 7th year of theatre, including middle school, and honestly it’s been a great learning experience. Senior Year really came quick and I’m so excited to be starting it off with a show such as Boy Get Girl. My fellow cast and crew have been working non stop to create this thriller. This is the first show I’ve been apart of as an official 6473 troupe member. and the memories I have made so far will last me a lifetime. I want to thank Ms.Miller for giving me the opportunity to work alongside like minded people, in the efforts to create something meaningful. I also like to thank my peers and every member of our program for the help of shaping me into the best version of my self. I’m so grateful to be apart of this opening to our BTE season and am so excited to see what else the year intends to bring.

Hello! I’m a vocalist and actor. I’m 15 years old, I’m a Sophomore, and I’m native Houstonian. To list some of my background in Theatre, I portrayed the Character of Henry Fielding in the production of ‘The History if Tom Jones’ and C.C. White in ‘Dreamgirls’ the musical, and most recently, as a Ensemble Member of the State placing play ‘Water by the Spoonful’. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with friends & family and annoying my neighbors with my singing.

This is my first ever theatre production as an actor, and I am truly excited to work with the cast and grow as an actor for upcoming plays. I never thought that acting would be something that I would be so invested in, but ever since I joined theatre, I have not regret it once. Bush Theatre is a phenomenal place to be in, and I wish to be in it through out my remaining days in high school.

First off I would love to thank my theater and my regular family for being here for me. I would love to thank Ms. Miller and our new tech director Mr. Debose. This has been one of the most challenging characters I have had to play and I’m excited to preform for you guys. This has been my like 9th show and every show it gets better and better. Right off the bat, BTE is making huge strides with its black box production of Boy Gets Girl. I’m so honored to be apart of this troupe because they constantly demand me to push myself beyond my limits and I’m a greater person because of it. Because of Boy Gets Girl, I not only know how to design a set, I can create sketches in AutoCAD, operate pneumatic tools, and effectively manage and lead our technicians to become professionals and to have a great time!

Boy Gets Girl. Boy Gets Girl is a 2000 play by Rebecca Gilman. The play received its first production at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago in 2000. Boy Gets Girl uses the story of what happens when a blind date turns into a living nightmare to examine stalking, sexism and the nature of the idea of romantic pursuit.
